Louis Staiano opened Staiano Wood Products in the fall of 1953. At that time, the building was only ¼ the size it is now. Staiano’s primarily provided hardware, building supplies, cabinets, and custom furniture.

Over the years Staiano’s World of Wood provided custom cabinetry and unfinished furniture to its local clientele. Brothers Jim and Bill Staiano took over for their father in running the business. Eventually, as the cabinet and furniture makers retired, Staiano’s became more focused on retailing finished furniture from other manufacturers.

After additions in the 70’s and 80’s, and an interior renovation in the late 90’s, Staiano’s has reached it’s current situation, with three stories of showroom, an onsite warehouse, and a clearance center that was recently converted from a cabinet making facility.

In 2002, Jim’s daughter Stephanie, and her husband Jeff replaced Bill Staiano as co-owners of the company. Since 2002, the Staiano family has focused on diversifying the styles available at the store, and bringing in even more quality manufacturers. A concerted effort has been made to put service at the forefront of every interaction that the Staiano’s have with their customers, and personally take pride in satisfying each customer.
